According to mythology, all the 330 gods and goddesses of Hinduism assembled at Pushkar Lake on the day of Purnima (full moon night) to consecrate the lake. ध्वजारोहण के साथ शुरू हुआ पुष्कर मेला, रंगारंग कार्यक्रम के साथ हुआ आगाज|

मेले का समापन 23 नवंबर को कार्तिक पूर्णिमा पर होने वाले महास्नान एवं पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह के साथ होगा|

पुष्कर. अंतरराष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त पुष्कर मेले का शुक्रवार को प्रशासनिक स्तर पर ध्वजारोहण के साथ रंगारंग आगाज हो गया। सुबह 10 बजे शंख, नगाड़ा वादन व शहनाई की गूंज के बीच मेला स्टेडियम में तिरंगा फहराया गया। धार्मिक मेला (पंचतीर्थ स्नान) 19 नवंबर को कार्तिक एकादशी स्नान के साथ आरंभ होगा। मेले का समापन 23 नवंबर को कार्तिक पूर्णिमा पर होने वाले महास्नान एवं पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह के साथ होगा।

1. स्कूलों के दो सो छात्राओं ने राजस्थानी गीत पर लोक नृत्य किया:

झंडारोहण के बाद शहर की विभिन्न स्कूलों की करीब दो सौ छात्राएं राजस्थानी गीत पर लोक नृत्य किया। मेले में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम एवं खेलकूद समेत विभिन्न पशु प्रतियोगिताओं की धूम भी शुरू हो जाएगी। जिला एवं पुलिस प्रशासन ने मेले की सभी आवश्यक तैयारियां पूरी कर ली हैं। पुलिस एवं खुफिया एजेंसियों ने सुरक्षा के कड़े बंदोबस्त किए हैं। अजमेर समेत संभाग के विभिन्न थानों से अतिरिक्त पुलिस जाप्ता पहुंच गया। थानाधिकारी नरेश शर्मा ने बताया कि आईजी बीजू जॉर्ज जोसफ व एसपी राजेश सिंह के निर्देशानुसार पुष्कर मेले में सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम किए गए है।

2. जगमगाएंगे दीप, खनखनाएंगे झालर-टंकोरे:

पुष्कर मेले के शुभारंभ के उपलक्ष्य में शुक्रवार की शाम को नगर पालिका की ओर से सरोवर के सभी 52 घाटों पर दीप दान किया जाएगा तथा गऊघाट, ब्रह्म घाट, बद्री घाट, वराह घाट, बंशी घाट आदि प्रमुख घाटों पर महाआरती की जाएगी। इस दौरान पुष्कर सरोवर हजारों दीपकों की रोशनी से जगमगा उठेगा तथा घाटों पर झालर-टंकोरे की आवाज गूंजेगी।

3. पुष्कर मेले की हर शाम होगी रंगीन:

पुष्कर मेले के दौरान आगामी 7 दिनों तक रंगारंग सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों व प्रतियोगिताओं की धूम रहेगी। जिससे मेले का नजारा न केवल रंगीन होगा। बल्कि मेले में लोक, कला एवं संस्कृति की छटा बिखरेगी। मेला मैदान पर स्वदेशी के साथ-साथ विदेशी कलाकार भी अपनी कला की प्रस्तुतियां देकर मेले को यादगार बनाएंगे। मेले के दौरान आने वाले देशी एवं विदेशी पर्यटकों को लुभाने के लिए राजस्थानी कला एवं संस्कृति से जुड़े कई कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। देशी-विदेशी के बीच फुटबॉल एवं लगान क्रिकेट मैच, हारमोनी मैराथन, हॉट एयर बैलून, प्रेम जोशुआ लाइव , आध्यात्मिक यात्रा, विदेशी मेहमानों की भारतीय दूल्हा-दुल्हन प्रतियोगिता, रास लीला, मूंछ, साफा बांधों प्रतियोगिता सहित अनेक कार्यक्रम आकर्षण का केंद्र होंगे।

4. मेले में पहुंचे साढ़े छह हजार मवेशी:

पुष्कर पशु मेले में पशुओं की मंडी सज कर तैयार हो गई है। मंडी में पशु पालक व व्यापारी जानवरों की खरीद-फरोख्त कर रहे है। अब तक मेले में विभिन्न प्रजाति के करीब साढ़े छह हजार पशु पहुंच गए है तथा इनकी आवक अभी भी जारी है। पशुपालन विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ. अरोड़ा बताया कि मेले में शुक्रवार की शाम तक विभिन्न प्रजाति के 6 हजार 402 पशुओं की आवक दर्ज की गई है। मेले में आए पशुओं में सर्वाधिक 3 हजार 782 ऊंट वंश, 2504 अश्व वंश, 39 गोवंश, 51 भैंस वंश, 25 बकरा-बकरी एवं एक गधा शामिल है।

5. मेले का लुत्फ उठा रहे है सैलानी:

मेले में भाग लेने के लिए पशु एवं पशु पालकों के साथ-साथ तीर्थ यात्रियों तथा विदेशी पर्यटकों की आवक भी दिनों-दिन बढ़ती जा रही है। जिससे मेले की चहल-पहल दिनों दिन आसमान छू रही है। पर्यटकों के झुंड मेला क्षेत्र में घूम-घूम कर मेले का लुत्फ उठा रहे है।
